Terms of Service

By accessing or using CreatorMetrics (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CreatorMetrics is a SaaS analytics platform that lets TikTok creators and brands authenticate via TikTok Login Kit and view performance metrics for their own TikTok account, including profile statistics, individual video metrics, and aggregated audience insights. The Service also provides aggregated trend-discovery features built from publicly accessible information for content-research purposes only.

The Service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" is a trademark of its respective owner.

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and capable of forming a binding contract.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

When you connect your TikTok account through the official TikTok Login Kit, you grant us permission to read the data covered by the OAuth scopes you approve (user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats, video.list, and user.insights). You may revoke this access at any time from Settings → Connected accounts in the Service or from your TikTok account settings. Our handling of this data is described in the Privacy Policy.

You agree that you will only authenticate TikTok accounts that you own or are authorized to manage on behalf of their owner.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to access any TikTok account or data you are not authorized to access.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or violate the rights of any third party.
• Resell or redistribute TikTok data obtained through the Service in violation of TikTok's Developer Terms.
• Circumvent rate limits or security controls.

The Service may be offered with free and paid tiers. Pricing, billing cycle, and included quotas are shown at sign-up. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law.

The Service, its source code, designs, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. All content you retrieve from TikTok through the Service remains the property of its original owner and TikTok, and is subject to TikTok's own terms.

The Service depends on third-party providers, including TikTok APIs, Supabase, OpenAI, and Hetzner Cloud. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, policies, or outages of those providers. Your use of the TikTok Login Kit is additionally governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy policy.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the analytics shown are complete, accurate, or uninterrupted. Decisions you make based on the data are at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including TikTok's Developer Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access with notice if you breach these Terms or if required by a third-party provider (including TikTok). On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
